I want to speak to the coach but I also want him to be able to navigate this thing on his own.

I explained he does need to do the play but not let the kids bother you when you take risks and make mistakes(everytime he makes a mistake they all get angry and have something to say to him and sometimes even the coach). He's very uncomfortable.

He's an excellent basketball player and wants to be able to show what he can do but they are constantly picking on him or telling him he needs to just do what's the play.

The coach just let's everyone laugh and pick on him.

He is a very nice young man but doesn't understand the rules of engagement of adolescent boys. 9th grade happens to be a very immature grade and he's not faring well with the other boys on his basketball team and his coach doesn't help.

My boyfriend however is Hispanic but surprisingly he also has curly hair and I know Hispanics usually have straight hair and my boyfriend also has brown eyes and a pointy nose but he kind of has that hook nose.
