I’m tired

I’m tired, I woke up before 6, and didn’t feel well. I went to work anyway. I wish I had a man friend to go to Palm Springs, or somewhere warm and dry for a couple of weeks. Sometimes she also throws away things that mean alot to me as an extra punishment.

Anyways, this still happens today at everything that I do that she dislikes, for example, not doing my chores at home, getting bad grades, not dressing the way she wants me to, wearing makeup, talking back at her and so much more.

When I apologize, it isn't just ''sorry mom'', I have to bow down to her and say ''Forgive me, mother'' and tell her that it's my fault.

Seriously, my mom would scream at me (hit me sometimes) until I started crying and then just leave me in a dark room alone and let me cry there until I went and apologized to her.

My mom has always taught me to call her ''mother'' and everytime I ask a question or answer her, I always have to add up ''mother'' after the sentence to be respectful.

Growing up, when I was at the age between 1-10 I was always scared of my parents, just because they would always yell at me.

So, I've grown up with my parents always behaving like this and therefor I've always thought that it was normal to have strict parents like mine, but when I explain it to my friends they always say that I'm exaggerating but I'm really not.
