I am starting the placebo pack of my BC pills today and typically get my period the Wednesday of the placebo week.

I think this could also be because I am on so many different medications, including my antibiotic and mucinex DM as prescribed by my doctor, along with taking probiotics.

I know there is no evidence that amoxicillin causes BC not to work, but I do understand that antibiotics can lessen its effectiveness.
